In the afternoon of 3rd October 2019 we will leave by busses to Haarlem where all participants can make a choice out of a varied program. After the excursions you will have approximately one hour to discover Haarlem on your own, before we go to the dinner location by bus. Please also read more about the timeline in the program book on page 53!
The Teylers Museum is a museum of science and art in the Dutch city of Haarlem and the oldest museum of the Netherlands. It was founded in 1778 as a book and a construction museum - a public opportunity for art and science. Both the building and the museum interior have the status of national monument. The museum has the oldest Dutch museum room, the interior of which has been preserved almost in its original state.
Grote or St. Bavo church
The Grote kerk or St. Bavo church is a Reformed Protestant church and former Catholic cathedral located on the central market square (Grote Markt) in the Dutch city of Haarlem. This church is an important landmark for the city of Haarlem and has dominated the city skyline for centuries. It is built in the Gothic style of architecture, and it became the main church of Haarlem.

Haarlem from the water! Discover the beautiful historic city center of Haarlem from the water! On board of a ship you can enjoy many beautiful sights such as the Molen de Adriaan, the Teylers hofje and the Basilica St. Bavo.
Guided city walk (FULLY BOOKED)
Haarlem is one of the most attractive historical cities in the Netherlands, with a magnificent city skyline. The river Spaarne meanders through the city that is famous for its many courtyards. Follow the pink line on the map of the city centre, to enjoy a fabulous walk.
A wonderfull 3 course conference dinner will be served at van der Valk Hotel Haarlem. After the dinner busses will bring you back to Egmond aan Zee.
